Terms
The agreement, in plain language.
These terms cover publishing events, registering for them, and the digital tickets that follow. They are short on purpose. Read them.

The service
EventSync lets organizers publish public event pages, take registrations, and issue digital tickets, and lets attendees discover events and register for them. By using EventSync you agree to these terms.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details safe and the information on your account accurate. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you believe someone else has access to it, change your credentials immediately.
Organizers and their events
Events on EventSync are created and run by their organizers, not by EventSync. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event pages, for having the rights to the imagery and content they publish, and for delivering the event they describe, including handling changes, postponements and cancellations with their attendees.
EventSync provides the publishing, registration and ticketing tools; it is not the host, promoter or seller of any listed event.
Registrations and tickets
Registering for a free event confirms your place instantly and issues a digital ticket for each holder named on the order. Where paid checkout is offered, priced tickets are held for a displayed time while you pay through Paystack, and your order becomes paid only when the payment provider confirms the charge to our servers, never on a browser redirect. Where paid checkout is not offered, reserving a priced ticket takes no payment and the event page states clearly what happens next.
If your payment settles after the last tickets have sold out, or a duplicate charge is ever recorded for one order, the order is not double-issued: the affected charge is refunded in full, automatically (see the refund policy).
A ticket is an admission credential for the organizer's event. Whether and how it is honored at the door is between you and the organizer.
Ticket links are private
Digital tickets are reached through a private link. Anyone holding the link can view the ticket, so keep it as private as the ticket itself. EventSync shows the full link exactly once, at confirmation.
Acceptable use
Do not publish events that are unlawful, misleading or impersonate someone else. Do not misuse the platform: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt the service, harvest information at scale, or register with details that are not yours to give.
Your content
Organizers keep ownership of the content they publish. By publishing, you grant EventSync the permission needed to display that content on the platform and in previews of it. Event pages are public and made to be shared.
Availability and changes
EventSync is an evolving product provided as-is. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn, and we may suspend accounts or remove content that breaches these terms. We work to keep the platform available and your data intact, but to the fullest extent the law allows, EventSync and Ikieguy are not liable for losses arising from a listed event itself or from interruptions to the service.
